About Me

Here is what I have to say about me. I am a 20 something with a degree in Sports Marketing. In 2013, I started following my heart and found baseball. I worked for several teams in several states to find a career in Minor League Baseball. I recently found a home team in Texas. While I am a Georgia peach at heart, Texas is growing on me. I am a big sister, an aunt and a crazy cat lady. I come from a big family full of talented ladies.

Between homestands and seasons, I spend my time pretending I am an adult. Picking up new hobbies and craft projects on an almost monthly basis. I have been knitting since high school and picked up crochet a few years ago. I am all self-taught and choose projects as they strike my fancy. Have a little experience in charting and pattern making. I love making things but often forget to write down how I got from point A to point B. Most original patterns are created out of necessity and inspired by other patterns or photos. 

You may notice references to "Boy" or "Kitten" they are my family. The kitten we got on discount from the animal shelter in Atlanta. We picked her up on Friday the 13th 2014, and she has been a wonderful pain in the butt ever since. She truly lives up to her name Jinx. In November of 2018, we added another kitten to the mix. Her name is Luna. She was abandoned and we added her to our family. The Boy has been around a good bit longer. A nice fellow who is my personal cheerleader, and has encouraged every step of my journey. We recently tied the knot in London. It was the best way I could ever imagine to start our next chapter.  

I love a good adventure and that's what my life has been. I have met great people that mean the world to me and are always willing to lend an ear or a hand. I have been to amazing places and am trying to navigate the shark-infested waters that are full-time employment. I am not a writer and I won't try to convince you that I am. I write for no one and this blog is my side project. I am sorry for the bad grammar, spelling, and train of thought style of writing. I hope you find amusement in some of it.
